Earlier this week, we got it our first look in what appeared to be a new virtual reality headset Oculus Quest thanks to an apparent marketing image shared on Twitter. Since then, multiple images have appeared online, including those of the device in nature and a release date, indicating that the headset may be launched soon.
The new images released on Friday reinforce the fact that this new Quest may seem quite similar to its successor, but it may appear in a combination of black and white colors. Check out these shared images on Reddit:
The existence of these units, which appear to be some sort of test device, suggests that the device may come out sooner rather than later.
This period of time was reinforced by the Twitter leaker WalkingCat, who shared the first marketing image that appeared this week and shared credible losses in the past. They published what appears to be most marketing images on Twitter, and in one of their tweets, they mentioned a mysterious date of September 15th, which could indicate when Facebook-owned Oculus plans to launch this new rumor:
Facebook declined to comment on the images or the launch date of the entry.
The company released the first Oculus Quest in May last year and Adi Robertson claimed it had a convenient wireless design but was less powerful than wired headphones. in his review. Facebook has continued to increase Quest’s capabilities since its release, and my colleague Sam Byford declared it “the VR headset to get” in May of this year (although they are difficult to find in the warehouse).
